Kirari-zashi Kendogi

The single layer KIYOI Kirari-zashi Kendogi is made using a special Kirari-zashi weave. This makes the Kendogi extremely soft and comfortable, while also helping sweat evaporate more easily, meaning it dries very quickly after training.

Keiryo Hakama with Pleat-Lock+

The KIYOI Keiryo Hakama is another KendoStar innovation. It is lightweight, smart, and practical, featuring our new Pleat-Lock+ stitching. This builds on the pleat saving features of our original Pleat-Lock design, with an additional feature that helps keep the pleats in place at the top of the Hakama, so they fall correctly when worn.

What is Included?

This set includes 1 x KIYOI Shoaizome Kirari-zashi Kendogi and 1 x KIYOI Shoaizome Keiryo Kendo Hakama.

Important Aizome Care Note

Because KIYOI is dyed with genuine Aizome, the colour will bleed. The indigo dye may rub off or stain objects, other clothing, and the wearer’s body. This is a normal and natural feature of genuine Aizome Kendo uniforms.

Please take care when washing. We recommend hand washing separately in cold water, without soap or detergent.

Fast delivery, hakama has this lock pleats from top to bottom on every pleat. Feels soft and its color almost match with the kendogi also. Feels light and the aisome blue is incredible. Could be used for shinsa if is its first wearing.

The quality of the gi and hakama is superb. Everything is solidly put together and can stand up to strenuous use, yet it's also very comfortable to wear. Dear Andy, the items arrived in time. I obviously tried them on at once, they are perfect and comfortable. I have already known this type of gi, because I ordered one of the same brand a few years ago. So I asked that kind on purpose. I chose this hakama because of the extra sewing along the foldings. Top Quality! Well this is my first Kendogi and Hakama. Very well made. It's very blue, and you get very blue when you handle it (yes I was that smerf!) Recommend a rinse before use to shed some of the excess dye. Like I say, Top Quality garments.

Great products and great customer service First shopping experience with KS and everything was perfect. From the product quality to the level of customer service (Joseph was extremely prompt to answer my numerous questions). Very fast delivery too in France (48h from the moment and i placed the order). nice value when on sale my first cotton set, comfortable, lightweight as described and beautiful pattern on the kendogi. unfortunately I noticed a couple of little imperfections here and there in the fabric and stiching of both pieces so I can't quite give it a 5 stars.
