Fantastic as usual I love these Shiai and have been using them for a good while now. They’re fantastic like I said before, so perhaps here I’ll just add that they freakin’ left the UK on the Friday and got to me way up in the mountains in northern Thailand today… at 2… the Tuesday following. A++

... after a recent repeat order of these shinai My second review on these shinai. i've been using them for... geeze... a year and a half, at least. I love them. For me they are perfect (using 39W). I suspect that I will continue to love and use these shinai exclusively and forever. On occasion, I panic when the thought comes upon me that they might, one day, not be available. I have been assured by KS that they will continue to carry them. I can rest easy. For now, at least. ;-) Fun comments aside, they are beautifully made, top notch.

Nice Sinai Good quality leather, that has a tight grain and doesn’t feel rough on the hands. Balance feels less tip heavy than expected because thicker handle. overall a nicely carved shinai.

First time using a koto shinai in a number of years... ...and i love it. Beautifully made and I'm finding the balance just great. The first shinai that i grab for keiko these days and i expect this to be the case for a good long while.

Great quality Kotogata Shinai I purchased 2 sets of 3. An absolutely fantastic promotional price for this top quality shinai. They look great and feel well balanced. The larger 30mm grip feels wonderful.

Excellent Koto Shinai Just like the title says. They are the best-made shinai I have seen, fit and finish is just superb. The take feels solid and fits together perfectly; the leather fittings are very nice and the tsukagawa feels nice in the hand. The balance is so good for a koto that I had to pull out my scale and verify they made weight (they did). 100% satisfied.
