It's for right hand only and it protects what you see. I would have gone for a bigger one to fully wrap the fingers and specially the thumb.

Super protective! (Make sur you're kote is not too tight before wearing this protective pad. It would put pressure on your joints/injuries.) I needed it for finger joints injuries and it's good! Good pading for the wrist/foreharm part also.
