These premium Men Himo are an excellent replacement or upgrade for your Kendo Men. With their deep indigo colour and refined feel, they pair beautifully with high quality Bogu and give your equipment a more traditional, polished finish.
The rich Bushu Sei Aizome colour gives these Men Himo a deep, traditional indigo tone that looks excellent with premium Kendogu.
Designed for regular Keiko, seminars, gradings, and competition use, these Himo offer the reliable feel serious Kendoka expect.
Supplied at 6.5 Shaku rather than the usual 7 Shaku, helping reduce or remove the need for cutting.
Standard Men Himo are often supplied at 7 Shaku, which usually means they need to be cut down after tying to reach the commonly desired length of less than 40cm. These Men Himo are supplied at 6.5 Shaku instead, so they require much less trimming, and in many cases may not need to be cut at all.

I’ve been wearing this Men for nearly 20 years and it was really looking sad… decided to show it some TLC with top quality Men Hemo and Aizome Bogu dye from Kendo Star. I was so pleased with how great the re vamped Men looked that I then needed to order new Hakama and Kendogi to complete the look.
