The Original KendoStar Ultimate All-Round Shinai was created to be the one Shinai you can confidently use in almost any situation. It is designed to feel light and manoeuvrable without becoming too tip-light, giving it the balance needed for fast, repeated attacks while still allowing a solid, satisfying strike.

This product includes 3 x Original KendoStar Ultimate All-Round Shinai, making it a practical choice for regular training, Shiai preparation, and keeping spare Shinai ready for use.

Designed to Be the Perfect All-Round Shinai

This Shinai has been designed to perform well in both regular Keiko and Shiai. The balance is intended to make it feel easy to use and quick to move, while still retaining enough presence at the tip to avoid weak or scrappy striking.

It is suitable for multiple attack Kendo, sharp footwork, and fast exchanges, while also giving a solid feel for Kendoka who prefer powerful one-shot techniques.

All Shinai from KendoStar are made using bamboo grown in our own facility, with each plant hand selected for optimum performance. Final adjustments are made by expert craftspeople to ensure the finished Shinai is well balanced, reliable, and ready for serious use.
