Nylon Shinai Bag for 5 Shinai

Great Shinai bag. Holds a few Shinai and Bokuto/Kodachi. Looks and feels great. Material is sturdy, yet light weight.

Good functional shinai bag The material looks as though it will do the job, but I won't actually know until it has stood the test of time. The shoulder strap will be an absolute boon as should make it easier for me to carry bogu and shinai bag up four flights of stairs to the dojo! There are also straps to the outside of the bag that would allow a bokuto to be attached to the outside of the bag, although there is room in the bag. Even I haven't managed to get through three shinai in a session yet, but I've no doubt the larger capacity makes it very useful "for insurance purposes" at a shiai. The base is not quite as illustrated although this is stated as such in the description. The base is made of a rigid plastic rather than the softer synthetic leather shown in the images, and does not have the three studs to keep it off the floor. There is an outer compartment at the bottom of the shinai bag for "bits" such as tsuba and tsubadome. Rather oddly, to me at least because I haven't worked out why, there is an internal zip into the main compartment from the outer compartment. I discovered this when all of the tsuba in the outer compartment started to drop into the main compartment. Otherwise, it looks to be a very practical shinai bag.
