As with my overall bogu review this is do is absolutely amazing and I couldn't be more happy with it super great quality and of course KendoStar supply all of the appropriate himo to go with it. You can tell Andy has really put thought into this design and it totally shows. I had an issue with my do as this do took longer than anticipated to be produced and I had already booked a seminar place, when I contacted KendoStar they couldn't be more helpful and even went out of their way to ensure that I had a plain black do to so that I didn't have to cancel my place they even let me keep this following the delivery in addition to my ordered do pictured so I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a do from KendoStar at all and I really like all of the other designs I've seen from other people. I feel that in a few years I would like to be getting another personalised do because these are absolutely amazing.
Amazing quality and the sizing is spot on! The texture looks awesome and does a great job hiding scrathes, so it keeps looking clean and brand new for way longer. Also the color is exactly what i expected, and the material feels sturdy without being heavy.... Definitely worth it! Highly recommend!
My first set of Bogu - Kendostar Myrmidon is excellent. Went for the Same Do - fake Ray skin. Armour is very good quality (several sets in use in my dojo) and highly recommended. The Do is excellent. Looks amazing. I've had so many complements over the Do - it really stands out. Also handy for identification purposes when someone accidentally puts it on!
It's really hard to take pictures of this thing that look like it does in real life! I think the photo on the Kendostar listing does a great job though, and it looks like I was imagining from seeing it on the website. 100% happy with how it was presented on the site and what I received.
I like that it's a darker color, but also not just a single shiny surface. The silvering kind of breaks it up visually, if that makes sense, and kind of helps it fit in to the bogu better in my opinion. So while it has its own distinctive look I don't think it sticks out too much compared to most of my peers that have the standard glossy black do. Really happy to have added this bit of customization.
The whole bogu set looks like a well-thought, premium product. Did notice some lose strings inside my men, but overall I like the way it looks. Yet to try it's performance though, but I am sure the snug fit of it shaped per my measurements will not disappoint
