I now have four of these white kendogi (this one was for my son who grew out of his previous one) and am very happy with them. They are suitable for all types of weather (not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter) and really quite durable. Because of the very reasonable price-point, I am not too concerned with treating them 'nicely' and just want them to be crisp and clean for every keiko. That means that they are machine washed weekly (including a 1400 RPM spin cycle), occasionally tumble dried, and even bleached every now and then. This really is no problem at all and this 'workhorse gi' just holds up nicely.

KendoStar Essentials: WHITE Single Layer Cotton Kendogi

I already had one of these kendogis and it really holds up well over time. I have been using it twice a week and machine-washed it after every practice to prevent permanent aizome stains from the do-himo/mendare on the white fabric. Even after all that washing, it still is in good shape.
