This is an amazing set. It provides you all you need to start Kendo, and the quality of the equipment is excellent!

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The only complaint I have, is that the garments have no instructions on the proper care of them . None of the paperwork have instructions on the care of the garments either.

Very high quality stuff for a good price! The package was shipped and arrived in the country very fast. If it hadn't been for a slow customs process, I would have gotten it in less than a week! Great value / quality ratio Even though kendogi and hakama are produced in China, they seem to be very well made. Kendogi is 100 % cotton and it feels very good. Absorbs sweat and it's comfortable. Hakama is 35 % cotton and 65 % polyester. Hakama holds it's shape and when you put at least little bit of efford in folding it, there is no need of ironing it everytime. All-purpose shinai is great - it's ready to use, it does not require oil or any other treatment before the first use.

Die Produkte sind in der Regel innerhalb einer Woche da. Wir empfehlen dieses Set auf jeden Fall in unserem Dojo für unsere Anfänger. Probably the best set for beginners I have seen in Kendo-Shops. Its all very good quality and nothing is missing so beginners don't have to look up each part they just have to do one click. the price is also I would say absolutely fair and maybe even cheaper than on other sites. But for sure a very strong advantage is also the short lead times. The products are in general there within a week. We definitely recommend this set in our dojo for our beginners.

Nice! Great value set! The Kendogi is really comfortable to wear and well made. What you should know: It is not dyed with Aizome. So it doesn't stain the skin and you don't look like a smurf after training. In summer, the gi is a little warm at first. But that changes as soon as you start to sweat. Then it cools wonderfully and evenly. Cotton is simply great. The shinai bag is also excellently made and comfortable to wear. What I would like to see is a zip or at least a velcro fastener on the small pocket where you can put the Tsubadome or something else so that you can close the bag completely. But that's only a small thing and you can glue a velcro fastener on yourself. I can recommend the set without reservation. The shop is also great. Great service and you get a quick answer to every question! You can tell that Andi-sensei really puts his heart into it.

Excellent Beginners Set My Hakama and Kendogi fit perfectly and is of high quality. The Shinai and Bokken are great for me as a beginner. I have had no issues and enjoy training with them. The bag is great. Hold the Shinai and Bokken no issues and easy to carry. Presentation was beautiful when it arrived. And it arrived fast! All the way to South Africa in less than a week. Extra Set and delivery I have ordered two sets for me and my wife. Uniform set quality is much better than the ones we had used before. They are comfortable and nice to train in. I highly recommend this set to every kendo beginner because all necessary things are included. I'm impressed by the speed of delivery. Everything went as effectively as if I ordered in my homeland.

Great products and super fast delivery I had seen a lot of great reviews for this beginners value set. And I must say the quality an fit of the Hakama and Kendogi is great! I chose sizing that corresponded to my height and it fits almost perfectly. Shinai and bokken feels great to swing and overall we are very happy with the product. I bought a set for me and my girlfriend and she is especially pleased with the kendogi and shinai. The only nit pick we have is that her Hakama wasn’t folded as nicely as mine before shipping, and therefore has a little bit of wrinkles. Great Product Great Quality/price relation. I ordered this and it arrived in less than a week. The bag was really great quality and the shinai had really great geometry. One thing I would note is that you might want to get a size a bit smaller because when I tried mine on I found the hakama to be a bit long. I also want to note on the shinai/bokken's packaging, The packaging was extremely secure but that also made it very difficult to open the box. I tried to open the box and it took me nearly 40 minutes.

Fast Delivery / Kendogi Measurments Pros: Great quality/price relation. I ordered from latin america and it took less than a week to get the order in my door. Amazingly fast. The shinai is perfect. The bag is great, really good quality. Cons:The KendoGi was a little small for me. The size is exactly as it said in the table of sizes, the problem is that you should take into consideration the height and not the measurements. The measurements are a tight fit, and that's not what you want, so, at least for me, I should have ordered 2 sizes more than my measurements, that is the recommended for my height. The bokken is just a little bent. Overall: I am really happy with the purchase. I will buy from kendostar again.

Just perfect I just bought my second beginner set as it includes everything you need. -The Hakama and Gi has good quality and is easy to handle in regard of washing and folding. -The shinai is good, so far no damage and in one piece. -The booken is also good and pleasant to train with -The bag is good for its price.

No need to worry I must admit I was a bit worried about buying and being unable to see it before hand. But my worries were unwarranted. The quality is extremely high, very comfortable kendogi and hakama. Not overly heavy but heavy enough to keep you warm during winter, and I’d imagine cool in summer. The shinai bag is great quality too, easily fits my two shinai plus the bokken comfortably.

Best value Probably the best value beginner's kendo set out there, when factoring in free shipping and customs charges taken care of. Everything you need to start minus bogu. Well Worth Your Money The kendogi and hakama are of amazing quality and fit me really well, which is welcomed as someone who is curvy and short. The shinai is amazing, I haven't used it yet but the shinai that was provided on my beginner's course was Kendostar and it's lasting me really well. The bokken feels wonderful quality as well, I only wish I could have chosen the colour but that is my only complaint. The shinai bag that you get is amazing quality and easily fits both the men's and women's 39" shinai and the bokken in it if you don't want to store it on the front. I will recommend that you make a name tag and pop it in the holder because this set is so good you will find that lots of other people have that same shinai bag.

Very Comfortable with Easy Care The kendogi and hakama uniform combo was a good initial investment for me while getting back into Kendo after many years away. The quality of the entire set is top notch and very affordable. Very lightweight and washing machine safe (I use garment mesh washing bags). Delivery was quick and free.

Excellent Shipping time and Quality. I ordered this package from Greece and I was fully expecting it to arrive in 2 weeks and have to pay customs and import taxes. Both those worries turned out to be nothing more than fantasy. The package arrived within a week (6 business days) and no shipping or customs or import taxes! I was amazed that you truly only pay once, especially with Brexit. That being said, the quality of the products themselves is great, exactly what I ordered! Perfect way to get started This is literally everything you need to get started at an incredibly competitive price for *quality* equipment! I've been practicing for a year now and everything has been fantastic. The shinai feels nicely balanced and with only a touch up every now and then to shave off the splinters it's holding up perfectly. The kendogi is a nice cotton and shows no signs of fading, plus the hakama is pretty low maintenance. Would be nice if the pleats were double stitched but that would be unreasonable at this price point. You also get a shinai bag to hold everything!

Very competitive pack I am a starter in kendo. Very satisfied by the service and very fast delivery. Set easy to take care of. Shinai better than usual basic ones. Two points for me : kendogi a bit large for me (tall and thin) and the tsuba pocket on the bag opens too easily.

Michael D I purchased the beginners set perhaps more than 6 months ago it has treated me well. Certainly, good value and will get you far. however, as Australia is in the summer month I have found the kendo gets quite hot. I have also found the hakama is losing its pleats despite proper folding after every session? perhaps it's a fault on my end. Shinai, carry bag and accessories are all great.

Awesome bundle! Hakama and kendogi are beautiful and really lightweight, I love how they look while wearing them. The bokken is really light and feel nice while swinging it, it looks great too. I still have to try out the shinai, I’m oiling it right now but it looks really well made and durable. The carrybag is a little tight but does it’s job pretty well. The shipment took a little longer than usual because of the high demand in this period but the costumer support was quick to let me know about this and this was really nice. Once it got shipped it took only 3 days to be delivered here in Italy! (A week before the estimated delivery date) Everything was packed very carefully and the order arrived in great conditions.
