Maika Seno was one of the youngest members of Team Japan for the 2018 World Kendo Championships - at the time, she was a student of Nakamura Gakuen High School, but she has gone on to study at the prestigious National Institure of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya - well known for producing some of the worlds' best Kendoka.
