Important Note About Genuine Same
Genuine Same is a natural material, and each piece is unique. Slight imperfections, variations, and natural texture differences are normal, and are part of the character and quality of the material.
The rough Ishime finish is coarse and can receive marks from Shinai contact more easily than a standard smooth Do-Dai. For this reason, this Do is recommended for general Keiko and occasions where the Do is not repeatedly struck in the same way as during Uchikomi practice or repeated Do Waza practice.
This Do is best suited for Kendoka who want a distinctive, beautiful piece for general Keiko, grading, seminars, or special use.
