An extremely lightweight genuine Shoaizome Kendogi, designed for comfort, quick drying performance, and a beautiful traditional appearance.
The KIYOI Shoaizome Kirari-zashi Kendogi is our new and improved lightweight genuine Shoaizome Kendo Kendogi. Designed for Kendoka who want the traditional look and feel of genuine indigo dyed Kendo wear, but in a lighter, softer, and quicker drying form, KIYOI is ideal for regular Keiko, seminars, travel, and hot weather practice.

Kirari-zashi Kendogi
The single layer KIYOI Kirari-zashi Kendogi is made using a special Kirari-zashi weave. This makes the Kendogi extremely soft and comfortable, while also helping sweat evaporate more easily, meaning it dries very quickly after training.

Important Aizome Care Note
Because KIYOI is dyed with genuine Aizome, the colour will bleed. The indigo dye may rub off or stain objects, other clothing, and the wearer’s body. This is a normal and natural feature of genuine Aizome Kendo uniforms.
Please take care when washing. We recommend hand washing separately in cold water, without soap or detergent.
