I like the feel of this shinai when striking it somehow feels more flexible than the madake bamboo ones, the leather fittings on this one are the best ones I had so far. Cant say the balance point is further towards the hand than all purpose. Still really like using this shinai.

The first time I bought the Junki shinai, I found it was outstanding for a dobari shinai.
It had such a light feeling I could not even belive it would reach regulated weight.
However the second time I bought this model, I didn't felt the same.
I bought 10 junki and 10 basic shinai for the dojo, the junki felt just a bit more dobari than the gokuen one.
Still a good shinai though
