The hanger does the job

Essential Hanger for Drying Gi You could use a normal clothes hanger for drying gi, but I find that because the arms droop down the armpit area takes longer to dry out. With this hanger, drying gi is a breeze! (heh) This is because the extendable poles allow the gi to have a T shape, which opens up the cuff of the sleeve which enables airflow into the sleeve. I own two of these because I also practice naginata right before kendo and may even buy a third because I also practice jujutsu the day after my kendo practice. So, by the end of the weekend I will have three keikogis needing to be hung! The option to hang a hakama on the hanger is great as well. I find it works best with the synthetic hamaka (tetron or polyester) but cotton ones work better with a dedicated hakama hanger (the blue one) because that provides airflow inside the hakama. Overall, very good hanger and I would recommend it to everyone who practices budo!

Absolutely required Using it to dry my classic double layer kendogi and it does an amazing job! After training or after washing, helps to keep a good shape and let’s it dry quickly! Reduces drying times by about 2 days for me

Great idea Very handy and dries your Kendogi much quicker, however don't try to dry your Judogi on it !! Judogi is too heavy :-) trust me!

Maintains the kendogi shape and helps dry faster It's very handy, and comes in a nice package, if you need to store it and transport. It maintains the kendogi in perfect shape, and helps dry it faster. Much faster! The extendable arms looks sturdy, and are easy to open and close. At first I thought that the hanger with the tiny rope was a weak spot, but after seeing it, it makes a lot of sense. It allows you to hang the kendogi, and rotate it easily and without friction while you adjust it, or if you need it to hang it in a difficult place.
