PLEASE NOTE -For size 30, 32, 34, and 36, the listed ages are recommendations only, based on average heights. Juniors below the age of 12 do not have a weight regulation for their Shinai, rather it is usually determined by height. Therefore, for Juniors who are taller than average, they should choose a larger size, and for those shorter than average, they should choose a smaller size.

Great shinai - almost in adult quality Received 3 junior shines. They were all the similar in quality and in a quality that easily corresponds to an ordinary adult shinai. Nice balance. Well done Kendostar.
Fantastic Quality Shinai for Juniors I purchased 3 set of Boys size 38 and 2 sets of girls size 38. I am truly impressed with the quality and feel of these shinai. Just what I wanted I ordered these for the club, because the last set of very cheap children's shinai performed how you would expect very cheap children's shinai to perform and I wanted something that would last longer, especially since these were size 36 and some of the women in the club use them. It's nicely made, sturdy and we adore the tonbo design on the tsuka. So many nice shinai these days seem to have plain white leather, which feels very impersonal and industrial. The purple makes it feel much fancier and individual. These shinai were exactly what we wanted.
