Solid Suburi Bokken I've enjoyed this bokken so far. I'm glad I read the review from someone saying they had shorter and less muscular arms, because I'm the same way and this is just enough for me to get a workout without tiring me after only a few swings. The wood has changed color on one half of the bokken, but otherwise everything is great!

Awesome training tool! This tool has been particularly useful during these unusual COVID-19 times as it allowed me to work on technique and build up strength in my arms and back! The suburito has been a great training tool for me!

Really nice finish After getting some really good advice from Joseph - as always - I went for the 3.5 as my arms are shorter than most men's and not as muscly either. While the 3.5 may initially feel a little light, once you're five minutes into suburi practice you can really start to feel how it's working your muscles. I was initially concerned by a small but obvious warp in the wood when I received it. However, I've now used it for two weeks and the warp has pretty much gone away. I'm guessing it was caused by a change in environments after it left the UK - not to mention having to adjust to room temperature after spending time at the much colder temperature inside the cargo hold of an aeroplane. Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the wood. The finish is really nice too - very, very smooth! The photograph is also true to colour. If it was possible, I'd give the bokken 4.5/5 (because of the slight warp), but it gets 5/5 because of Joseph's great advice. This alone is why people should shop at Kendostar! ...if only they would start to sell Blackpool rock. :)
