KHD	Do-Dai models that start with a ‘KHD’ code are 50pc type synthetic Do, made from an extremely strong, high-impact plastic. Completely size-adjustable, and available in a wide variety of colours and finishes.
BS	Do-Dai models that start with a ‘BS’ code are 50pc type synthetic Do, made from an extremely strong, high-impact plastic, and then covered with durable embossed leather. Completely size-adjustable, and available in a small variety of colours and patterns.
YK	Do-Dai models that start with a ‘YK’ code are 50pc type YAMATO brand synthetic Do, made from Toray nylon resin (polyamide resin) AMILAN™, which is a thermoplastic engineering plastic containing an amide group (-CONH-) and it exhibits excellent strength, toughness, heat resistance, and anti-friction wear resistance. Completely size-adjustable, and available in a wide variety of colours and finishes.
YU	Do-Dai models that start with a ‘YU’ code are YAMATO KAWARIZOME brand synthetic Do, made from Toray nylon resin (polyamide resin) AMILAN™, which is a thermoplastic engineering plastic containing an amide group (-CONH-) and it exhibits excellent strength, toughness, heat resistance, and anti-friction wear resistance. Unlike other coloured synthetic Do-Dai, YAMATO KAWARIZOME Do-Dai are not painted, rather they are made from AMILAN™ resin that is actually dyed the final colour of the Do-Dai - therefore the colour will never scratch or wear away. Completely size-adjustable, and available in a small variety of colours and finishes.
YT	Do-Dai models that start with a ‘YT’ code are 50pc type PREMIUM YAMATO brand synthetic Do, made from Toray nylon resin (polyamide resin) AMILAN™, which is a thermoplastic engineering plastic containing an amide group (-CONH-) and it exhibits excellent strength, toughness, heat resistance, and anti-friction wear resistance. These models have a premium finishes, as oppose to the standard colours. Completely size-adjustable, and available in a small variety of colours and finishes.
TD/BD/SD	Do-Dai models that start with a ‘TD/BD’ code are 60pc type hand made bamboo Do, and lacquered* with genuine Japanese Urushi. Made to order and available in a wide variety of colours and finishes. Do-Dai Models that start with an 'SD' code are 60pc hand made bamboo Do, covered with genuine Samegawa *some finishes do not use Urushi lacquer, such as the TD-18 Yellow Kiji Do.
