Kendo Kote Pad

Very good quality and quite comfortable. My kote are rented from a dojo I train with and is quite thin so I was getting a lot of bruises before. Now I barely feel anything after any hits.

Just the thing to help with those harder kote strikes - good fit and comfortable.

Helpful for the homies who need extra protection I'm right-handed and I use my wrist for work a lot, so I wanted to make sure I had a lot of protection for my kote. At the club, we tried kote strikes with and without the protective pad, and I would 100% always wear this, no question. This is true even though I have the ultra-protective Myrmidon armor set. The kote is very padded, but I prefer not to feel the strike...at all. And this does exactly that! I have smaller wrists, so it fits perfectly with the kote without adjustment as I'm still in the breaking-in period.

Added protection I often get some sore kote strikes, and felt I needed some added protection. This helps so much. It’s comfortable and gets well under my kote.

Excellent Kote pad. Provides real protection. I had hurt my wrist and receiving kote strikes was quite painful. With this on, I can barely feel the strike at all.

Perfect! Protects very well against hard kote strikes. Simple construction but well made and it does what it is meant for, i.e give you a good protections.

Great to protect this painful zone Beginner in kendo, I have ordered it with my bogu but finally did not use it as the pain was now very limited. My kid practice kendo also and stopped a training because of the pain on the kote. Now he is using it and really enjoys his kendo again.

Very Nice Quality I bought this recently, the quality and the finishing is really very good, I just wish it is mentioned here that it is only one piece, I play Kenjutsu, and we strike everywhere, including both arms, so I was to order 2 of them! N.B. if you play Iaido or any other marshal art from seiza position, you can use this one to wear on your feet too to protect the face of your feet from contacting the floor - sometimes it hurts - not a bad idea at all actually, and Itried it and it worked pretty well actually!

Essential piece of equipment As a beginner, I just moved with the intermediate and advance players. After one week without protective pad, may right forearm was heavily bruised. I realized not only the beginners can hit a little too hard. I ordered this pad... thanks for the fast shipping, I was able to get it before the next session. Ideal solution for me I chose this item after my first extensive stage with a Japanese sensei. I'm a beginner and after 1 hour when we had practice only with strikes on kote my wrist hurt and few hours later despite the ointment, I was bruised. This is a practical solution for beginners that probably not still able to receive the kote in the right way, I'm very satisfied. The additionalò protection is good and is wearable under the kote without any uncomfort.
