Deluxe YAMAYA Heel Pad

I’ve tried another heel protectors but this is the best one so far. Good balance between comfort and protection and besides you can remove it easily.

I bought this to replace my previous heel pad. The previous one was difficult to slip on, was slippery on the dojo floor, and rather uncomfortable about a quarter of the way through training. The Deluxe YAMAYA Heel Pad is quite the opposite. Easy to put on, prevents slipping on the floor, and didn't give it a single thought throughout ji-geiko.

Packaged very well and unlike the old ones, these have probably even better cushioning. Fits firmly but not so tight that it’s a distraction. High quality and definitely recommend this going forward for anyone who needs a protector. Though do aim to replace this after two years or until you feel like the cushioning has diminished. 5/5

Long lasting protection! Got this item a little under a year ago - wanted to wait a little before saying anythingh about it. It's seen its fair share of use and still maintains a brand new feel! Definitelly recommend for anyone that needs some extra heel support!

Heel Pad I ordered medium for ladies uk foot size 5 and it was way too big for me. The protective sole is also a lot thicker than it looks in the picture.

Save your heel If you're a heavier guy and practice often, this is a must. Very comfortable and saves your heel from those heavy practices with oikomi and the like. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and helps against heel strikes Very comfortable and fits well. The heel is raised enough that you will notice. Padding is good that if you do heel strike on your fumikomi it will not hurt and you will notice that you are doing it...so that you can fix that aspect of your ashi-waza.

Comfortable heel support Injured my heel during keiko, this helps alleviate the pain during the rest of the sessions during the week. It's comfortable!

Very comfortable Bought them because my heel hurts from time to time after training. First I was not sure to spent a little bit more on this but they are really good. Nice to wear. Good quality.

great protection, high quality Very high level of heel protection and good grip with the leather padding. The L size for a EU sizing 42.5 feels just right. Great for heel pain! Injured my heel just before a competition but this managed to get me through both days of the competition just fine! Great for a bit of extra protection on the heel when needed. Great serivce from Kendostar as always!

Good protection It is a nice product. I have an europan 40-41 and size M fits very strait, but the L (I tried before) is too much loose. Even so, it work nice and it help me a lot to reduce the pain.

Can't recommend enough The protector is very well padded and saves your heel (no matter how bad your fumikomi is :) ) It holds the ankle firmly and - although the pictures don't show - there is a leather patch on the sole so it's not slippery at all.

Great item to cushion the shock on the ground I must admit that this protection is a game changer for me and my heel. I got injured practicing on a tough surface and really needed a solution to come back asap without harming the situation and staying too long away from the Dojo The protector is a great help to cushion the shock when the foot hits the ground.
