Chichigawa: Feels very high quality and easy to thread into the mengane. Smaller length but otherwise looks very classic. Time will tell how long this will last but so far I’m happy the length, the quality of this as well as the shape it gives my men.
Himo: Packaged well, feels very high quality, the dye is more set to Indigo than Purple/Violet (latter being cheap Himo). Used in tandem with the chichigawa, it was the correct length and no trimming needed.
Thoroughly happy with this purchase and the quality coming from KS. Would love to see more variations and styles if possible someday!

These are chichigawa to use with 8shaku himo and are tied from the top of the men.
I needed a new leather, since the one I bought in Japan years ago slowly breaks apart.
The quality I received is superb!
Finest, genuine deer leather, indigo dyed and hand sewn.
Will order one again when need be
