If washing using a washing machine, we recommend a delicate setting. For best results, wash separately and avoid tumble drying.

The gi is very comfortable and the quality seems to be very good. It's really light compared to my cotton gi and the hakama is really easy and quick to fold thanks to the pleat-lock stiching. I have washed in once in the washing machine (I have worn it only twice) and it took only a second to be dry and the pleats remained perfect. A unique point is strange to me : the colour. It's supposed to be deep navy but it's so dark that it seems almost black, but it's not really a problem. It has a nice appearence and I love wearing it. I recommend it. Thanks Kendostar !!!

Having always trained with entry-level kendogi and hakama, the difference is unbelievable. Both pieces are incredibly light, it almost feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. I have now purchased 2 of these this hakama for my teenage son who is growing rapidly. We have 3 kendoka in our home so we have tried A LOT of uniform styles. This 'KACHI' - Elite Featherweight Pleat-Lock Hakama is my favorite out of everything we have tried because it always looks crisp no matter what. The color is rich and the pleats stay crisp and do not pucker. We receive compliments on a regular basis. It is cool to wear during practice and easy to care for. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Everything KS is top notch!

Great set for practice and hot time. Pros: - Gi feels so smooth and soft I could wear it at home. - Hakama is all stitched, you can just throw it in the bag after training or in the washing machine and it’s folded perfectly afterwards. Cons(super minor nitpicks): - The colour is almost black rather than dark blue - Size guide didn’t work for me (186cm tall). Size 28 fitted like a curtain, 27 was just right.
