Aizome Deerskin Reinforcement
SENTINEL uses highest grade genuine Aizome deerskin reinforcement. This gives the set a beautiful and traditional appearance while also adding toughness in key areas.
Because genuine Aizome dye is used, some colour transfer may occur at first. This is normal and will reduce with use.

Please follow the measuring guide carefully when ordering. Accurate measurements are especially important because this set is made to order.
Men Measuring Guide
A Measurement Measure from the tip of the chin to the furthest point at the crown. Keep your mouth closed and keep the tape in front of the ears. The tape should be reasonably tight, but not squeezing.
B Measurement Measure around the forehead at the widest point, where you would wear a hat. Keep the tape above your ears and eyebrows.
C Measurement Measure from the bottom of the chin to the middle of the eyes. For accuracy, have someone help you.
Kote Measuring Guide
D Measurement Measure from the wrist joint to the tip of the middle finger.
E Measurement Measure in a slight diagonal line around the knuckle and palm area.
F Measurement Measure around the palm, with all fingers and thumb closed.

It's a long overdue review! After 16 years of loyal service, I had to replace my old bogu and I chose the SENTINEL model. What a difference! The first thing that surprised me was the weight. Extremely light but very protective nonetheless. And the look and feel is just gorgeous! (I'm in love with my Do) Add to all of this a wonderful team always listening and hyper reactive, and you feel as secure as when wearing this bogu. I highly recommend it!

I asked for Tetsukon colour for the Kazari Ito, and it is perfect. It is a subtle metallic blue, not too flashy but adds a really nice touch.
The set is really refined, great padding and good quality. I love the deer leather accents, and the mune design is amazing!

This is my first bogu and I am truly happy that I chose Kendostar. The customer service and attention to detail is excellent. They facilitated some personalized touches on this set (brown kazari ito) and when asked for advice on a complementary color for the Do made a suggestion that changed my order and did it at no additional cost - AND I received it 4 weeks earlier than projected.

Great choice
After 93 days I finaly recived it.
It's ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.
But there's one MINUS - my Do-dai color is a littel diferent then a Do-dai showed on web. Should be violet but it is blue (I ordered YT01).
But still I am happy to have it.

Just received my set of the Vangaurd Sentinel Bogu and it looks and fits fantastic.
I have only tried receiving a few test cuts but it feels comfortable, offering great protection.
