100% Made in Japan. Nanahoshi’s KIRA Series Bogu Set carries a name that means “prayer” and “star.” This series was developed after the Great East Japan Earthquake to support recovery and preserve the tradition of Japanese made Kendo equipment. Each star represents every Kenshi, and this Bogu set embodies a wish for happiness and good fortune for all.

This is not mass produced gear. KIRA combines Nanahoshi’s focus on safety and functionality with patterns refined from years of custom orders, achieving ease of use, durability, and elegant appearance. Every cut, stitch, and panel is crafted carefully, so please allow the necessary production time for your set to be made properly.

Chin to crown measurement (A) Chin to crown, mouth closed. Tape runs in front of ears and should be snug. Forehead circumference measurement (B) Forehead circumference, just above ears and eyebrows. Chin to eyes measurement (C) Bottom of chin to middle of eyes. Have someone help for accuracy.
