About This Special Same Do
This is a rare and one of a kind Do, combining the practical comfort of a lightweight Fiber Do-Dai with the striking appearance of genuine Same. The Renseki pattern creates a dramatic stone-like effect across the Do-Dai, while the gloss finish gives it a strong visual presence.
The Mune is made from genuine Aizome leather and features Ni-OH Kazari. This gives the Do a powerful, traditional character, while still keeping it comfortable and practical for wearing in Keiko.

Important Note About Genuine Same
Genuine Same is a natural material, and each piece is unique. Slight imperfections, variations, and natural texture differences are normal, and are part of the character and quality of the material.
Although this Do has a gloss finish, the genuine Same surface may still receive marks from Shinai contact more easily than a standard smooth Do-Dai. Please take this into account if you are looking for a Do for intensive repeated Do striking drills, such as Uchikomi practice or repeated Do Waza practice.
This Do is best suited for Kendoka who want a distinctive, beautiful piece for general Keiko, grading, seminars, or special use, rather than for repeated impact-focused Do practice.
