Measuring Guide:

(A) Measure from the tip of the chin, to the furthest point at the crown. Keep mouth closed, and keep tape in front of ears. Hold the tape still with your finger, whilst another person takes the measurement. Tape should be reasonably tight, but not squeezing.	B) Measure around the forehead at the widest point, where you would wear a hat. Keep the tape above your ears and eyebrows.	C) Measure from the bottom of the chin, to the middle of the eyes. For accuracy, have someone help you.

D) Measure from the wrist joint, to the tip of the middle finger.	E) Measure in a slight diagonal line around the knuckle and palm area.	F) Measure around the palm, with all fingers and thumb closed.

With this in mind, we took to producing a VANGUARD series Bogu set designed specifically for children, and young Kendoka. Featuring the same GUARD-STITCH super-protective, cushioned Futon, and toughened synthetic leather reinforcements, VANGUARD JUNIOR is designed to give the next generation of Kendoka the protection they deserve. Again, made to order, we able to supply the VANGUARD JUNIOR set in a way that will account for growth, and largely removes the worries of your child out-growing the set." - Andy Fisher, KendoStar CEO.

The Men is stitched using our new, innovative GUARD-STICH pattern stitching. This is unique in Kendo Bogu design, featuring 4 lines of 3mm stitching, aligned in 14mm intervals. These large intervals create large cushions, where the Futon is left very thick, and padded, giving unrivaled protection, and takes the shock out of even the heaviest of blows.. A light, Duralumin Mengane (protective cage) is featured - keeping the Men lightweight, which is important for youngsters, who are still developing. Finished using toughened synthetic leather parts, which is very durable. To improve hygiene, a new type of specially developed micro-bacterial felt is used for the Uchiwa (face padding), which dries quickly, and is resilient to odor.

The Kote also feature the same GUARD-STICH pattern stitching, as featured on the Men, and also feature additional padding in the strike zone - keeping you protected from hard strikes. The wrist joint is made using an original cut, which is extremely flexible, whilst also being very durable. The palms are made using toughened synthetic leather, and Yoroi-Kazari is featured on the fists for increased maneuverability.

A toughened synthetic black Do-dai (body protector) comes as standard, and a Kurozan Mune, with your choice of design.

The Tare has been designed to give not only a sophisticated appearance, but also excellent protection, comfort, and durability. The entire tare features GUARD-STICH pattern stitching, making it protective, and extremely comfortable, and the leather parts are made with toughened synthetic leather.
