I have posted a few videos in the past featuring one of the great legends of Kendo - Hironori Yamada Sensei, and here is another of his matches from the All Japan Kendo Federation's 50th Anniversary 8th Dan Tournament. This highlight clip, filmed in 2002, is a snippet of an epic battle between Yamada Sensei and Uegaki Sesei, and the build up of pressure between the two, before the final Ippon is a joy to watch:
