One of the major tournaments in the Japanese annual kendo calendar is the All Japan Tozai Taiko - which sees a face off between two large teams, one representing the East of Japan, and the other representing the West.
In this video from the 54th edition of the tournament (2008), we see the Taisho match between Kunio Hayashi Sensei (Hanshi 8th Dan), and Takao Fujiwara Sensei (Hanshi 8th Dan) :
