Made from select cuts of Bamboo.
TOUSHIN is a deluxe Shinai, which features a balanced 'Dou' section similar to our basic practice Shinai. In addition to its excellent balance, TOUSHIN also has an oval-grip, which makes gripping the Shinai correctly easy, and gives a similar feel to a real Japanese sword. Each TOUSHIN Shinai is made from a single bamboo plant, which provides the four slats with the best flexibility and durability.
